I'm Steve Kendley, Domestic Violence Detective for the Lake County Sheriff's Office and I am running as an Independent Candidate for the Office of Sheriff for Lake County, Montana. 

My campaign will be unique in that I am basing the first "plank" of my campaign on upholding the Oath of Office to defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of Montana from all enemies, foreign and domestic. The Oath of Office for the Lake County Sheriff states: 

"I, Steve Kendley, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support, protect and defend the constitution of the United States and the constitution of the state of Montana, and that I will discharge the duties of my office with fidelity (so help me God)."

I have the endorsement and support of former Sheriff Richard Mack.
