Starting March 3rd 2010 I am asking for 100 supporters to join a maximum level of support... the "Golden Patriot Donors"
AS OF August 22nd, 24 SUPPORTERS HAVE JOINED THE GOLDEN PATRIOT DONOR CLUB...76 TO GO!
First I want to thank all of you who have donated to this campaign. It is very humbling to have received the hundreds of donations that have been given along with the kind wishes and prayers. I have received donations of single dollar bills, many ten and twenty dollar donations along with checks and money orders of all sizes right on up to the $160.00 maximum. Thank you. I picture the citizens who have sacrificed to send these donations and I am sobered with the responsibility of this effort...
Knowing that every dollar donated is important, I do not want to in any way minimize the power of each donation that has been sent. I am tasked with spending this money wisely and for the maximum effect to succeed this Fall. All of these donations are making a difference!
I am now beginning to pay the bills that come from an Independent campaign for the Office of Sheriff. I know that a major financial effort is required to succeed. It is a reality that many thousands of dollars will be needed to win. I have come up with a plan to secure victory in this election...
I am asking for 100 supporters to step up to "Golden Donor Status" and commit to donate the maximum allowable by law; $160.00 per adult.
Under Montana's campaign laws, individual donors are allowed to donate a maximum of $160. Whatever you can donate will be greatly appreciated, I will not be able to accomplish the task of effectively campaigning to be the next Lake County Sheriff, without your financial support.

As part of Montana's stringent campaign laws, if you donate $35.00 or more, I am required to obtain name address, phone number and employer information / occupation. If you choose to donate via Paypal, or credit card, please enter your employer information and occupation when donating. You can accomplish this by selecting "special instructions" tab prior to finalizing the donation. In the comment section, please enter your employer information and your occupation. Without this information, your donation will have to be returned. If you cannot get that function to work properly, or you forget to provide that information, you can also update us to this information by sending us an email at: sheriffkendley@gmail.com
Again, Montana laws allow for donations less than $35 ($34.99 or less) without obtaining this intrusive information. If you have the ability to donate via check or cash, that would be greatly appreciated and would allow for your funds to go farther during the campaign (by eliminating the bank fees associated with credit card charges).
